BSP in talks with Congress, BJP to retain power?

While the BJP and Congress may have gone hoarse screaming they will not form an alliance with the BSP, is that what is about to happen?

CNN-IBN's Shreya Dhoundial, reporting on ground from UP has said that while none of the parties are publicly proclaiming their talks for alliances in the state, some are in fact already in talks with their political foes.

The BSP she says, is already in back channel talks with the BJP and the Congress party — in the hope of staking claim to forming the state government, yet again — in the event it falls short of a majority vote.

BJP's Rajnath Singh had said that the party will not form a coalition with anyone. Yesterday, RLD's Ajit Singh too quashed reports of talks about it forming a possible alliance with the SP.

However, all the parties in the fray may be waiting for the poll results on Tuesday before they reveal their alliances.
