Kokrajhar violence: 14 civilians killed in suspected NDFB(S) militant attack

Smoke coming out of shops after an attack by NDFB (S) terrorists in the market area at Balajan Tinali near Kokrajhar town in Assam on Friday where 14 people were killed. PTI

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju condemned the attack and said that the peace had returned in Bodoland after a long time and this incident is unfortunate. PTI
The National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit) is one of the largest insurgent group active in the region with more than 300 cadres in its folds. PTI
Sonia Gandhi strongly condemned the militant attack in Assam & extended her condolences to the families of the thirteen innocent victims. PTI
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh strongly condemned the attack and called for swift action. PTI
