Independence Day parade rehearsal ends: India readies itself to celebrate 70 years of freedom

First phase of the practice was held on Friday afternoon with over 40 troops participating including various personnel of police, jawans and students. Second phase of the drill was held on Saturday afternoon, while the final rehearsal was held on Sunday morning. AP
Students from various schools and colleges would also participate in the march-past and cultural show scheduled for the day on Gandhi ground. AP
Ahead of Independence Day on Tuesday, security arrangements have been heightened around the national capital this week. AP
