Unhappy with his mugshot, fugitive sends police a 'better' selfie

Donald “Chip” Pugh, although a wanted man in Ohio, might just have made even Narcissus proud with his latest act.

Pugh, 45, wanted for failure to appear in court, a person of interest in several other cases and unhappy with a mugshot, texted police a photo of himself with the text: “Here is a better photo that one is terrible”, the Lima Police Department said in a post on Facebook .

“We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come to speak to us at the [Lima Police Department> about his charges.” the Police Department wrote in a post .

“Man, they just did me wrong,” Pugh told an Ohio radio station about why he sent the selfie, reports LimaOhio.com

“They put a picture out that made me look like I was a Thundercat… or James Brown on the run. I can’t do that.”

Pugh is wanted for failure to appear in a drunk driving case, reports Fox .

“He’s drawing more attention to himself, which is going to make it easier for us to locate him, because the more attention that this post garners, the more people are going to see it, the more tips are going to come in about this guy,” Lt. Andy Green told the website YourNewsNow .
