Gurgaon resident Jitendra Kumar was in for a rude shock when he received a two-month electricity bill worth Rs 75 crore for his residence, reports ANI .
A resident of Sector 3-Gurgaon, Kumar’s electricity bill would always fall under the bracket of Rs 5,000-9,000. Infact, he alleged that the cost of his residence is cheaper than the bill.
A clear case of error on the part of the electricty board which has not even rectified the mistake despite Kumar having made innumerable rounds of the electricity board office.
“When I went to the electricity office, they said they will fix it. They asked me to wait outside the office, I waited for two hours in the office and then they said that I will receive the bill,” Kumar told TOI.
