According to Hindustan Times, the love story began a couple of months ago when Asha visited her daughter Lalita, 19, to help Suraj recover from a health condition.

Soon, the affair began and as Asha's husband worked in Delhi, the couple met frequently and later decided to live together.

According to Gulf News, the two had eloped in June but later returned to their village. When they came back, the panchayat allowed them to stay together and stated that there was no reason to separate the couple believed to be 'madly' in love.

After a series of events, they finally got married in a court ceremony where they filed for a formal affidavit. They now live together.

However, there is no clear information on whether Asha and Suraj got an official divorce from their respective partners.

Asha even claimed that she had no problem in staying with her daughter, but Lalita and her father were clearly in despair.

India Today reported that Asha's first husband will take Lalita with him to Delhi.
