Soak: When you need to cook cereals and dals, ensure that you soak them well for sometime before cooking. This will ensure that they take less time to cook, and hence reduce your fuel consumption.

Attain Temperature: When you take food out of the refrigerator allow it to come back to room temperature before you start cooking. This will ensure your LPG consumption is reduced.

Vessel: The kind of vessels you use for cooking will also affect the amount of LPG you consume. Choose vessels with wider bottoms, and ensure you cover them too. Wider bottoms will ensure that surface area increases and they take shorter time to cook.
