Uttar Pradesh: Two minor girls die after wall of a mud house collapses

Fatehpur: According to officials, two girls were killed when the wall of a mud house collapsed on them after heavy rain. Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the incident was reported to have occurred in Majre Salona Dera of Karaiha village under Lalauli police station. The wall collapsed as the two girls, Naina and Pransi, were playing outside a neighbour’s home, the officials added. People from the neighbourhood rushed to the spot and pulled the girls from the debris. However, both of them had stopped breathing by then, Sub Divisional Magistrate (Sadar) Awadhesh Kumar Nigam said.
