The incident, which took place in Nigohi, brings forth the lawlessness and highhandedness of the police in Akhilesh Yadav-led Uttar Pradesh government. Shahjahanpur SP, Ramesh Chandra Sahu said that the Shukla was suspended and was placed under departmental inquiry.

According to reports, Shukla showered the dancer with Rs 30,000. The constable has been suspended and an inquiry has been ordered against him.
