Telangana Election Results: INC's Azharuddin trailing sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath by 1648 votes for Jubilee Hills seat

In the Jubilee Hills constituency of Telangana, Mohd. Azharuddin, a former cricket player who entered politics in 2009 and joined the Indian National Congress, is trailing by 1648 against Maganti Gopinath, the current legislator of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti.

As per ECI’s data, after 10 rounds of voting, Mohammed Azharuddin had 25, 923votes, according to the most recent trends.

The Election Commission of India reports that the Congress party is leading in 64 seats and BRS is leading in 38. Both have secured at one seats each. And are trailing on 27 and 69 seats respectively.

Secundrabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency includes Jubilee Hills, a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in Telangana.

It is regarded as an urban seat because it is located in both the Hyderabad district and the Greater Hyderabad area.

The 2018 Telangana assembly election winner, Maganti Gopinath of the BRS, faced off against BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy and Congress candidate Mohammed Azharuddin, a former Indian cricket captain, in a fierce race for the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency.

After joining the Congress in 2009, Azharuddin was chosen to represent Moradabad as a member of parliament. He became the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s president in 2018.
