Bihar Election Results 2025: Record voter turnout and exit poll predictions
Bihar saw an impressive voter turnout of 66.91% in the second and final phase of its Assembly elections on Tuesday. According to the Election Commission of India, this marks the highest voter participation in the state since 1951.
Early exit polls released after the conclusion of voting have largely projected a clear win for the ruling NDA alliance, led by the BJP and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U). The surveys suggest the alliance is set to comfortably surpass the majority mark of 122 seats in Bihar’s 243-member Legislative Assembly.
In contrast, the RJD-led opposition coalition, Mahagathbandhan, is expected to secure 100 seats or fewer, according to the exit poll forecasts.
The official schedule from the Election Commission of India states that vote counting and the release of trends for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will begin at 8:00 AM on Friday, November 14, with final results anticipated later in the evening.
This election has drawn nationwide attention due to the high stakes, with political analysts closely monitoring the competition between Nitish Kumar’s NDA and Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD-led INDIA alliance. The outcome will not only decide the next government of Bihar but could also influence the broader political landscape in India.
Voters, parties, and political observers are now waiting eagerly for the Bihar Election Results 2025, which will reveal whether the state opts for continuity under Nitish Kumar or a change in leadership.
