Jalandhar: The body of an unidentified man was found stuffed inside a suitcase outside the city railway station on Tuesday morning. The police received information about an abandoned red suitcase that was lying outside the railway station at around 7 am. The Government Railway Police team took the bag into their possession and sealed the area. The police also called a forensic investigation team to the scene, which took the body out of the bag. The body has not been identified yet, they said. “While scanning the CCTV footage, the police found a man leaving the bag outside the station,” they said, adding that further investigation is underway.
