Gujarat: Surat cop caught dancing with bar girl, suspended
Surat police initiated an inquiry against him and submitted the preliminary report to the DCP and Commissioner of Surat city police yesterday, he said.

Ahmedabad: Surat police suspended a police sub-inpector, who was caught dancing with a bar girl while on duty during, after a video of his act went viral, officials said here today.
"Police sub-inspector DC Solanki of Surat's Dindoli area, whose act of dancing with a bar girl went viral yesterday, was suspended by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) MM Anarwala," Dindoli police inspector SJ Baloch said.
Solanki was caught dancing with a bar girl while on duty, which prompted the police department to initiate action against him after a video of his act went viral on 'Whatsapp' yesterday.
Surat police initiated an inquiry against him and submitted the preliminary report to the DCP and Commissioner of Surat city police yesterday, he said.
According to Baloch, Solanki had gone to an event on December 19, as a part of his duty, but he had started dancing with a bar girl at the event.
Solanki was also seen in the video, showering currency on the bar girl and dancing with her in his police uniform.
