Neemuch district registers highest pass percentage
Madhya Pradesh’s Neemuch district recorded the highest pass percentage at 79.13 percent, while Bhind registered the lowest pass percentage of 42.01 percent.
360 students hold top 10 ranks
While 15 students emerged first with 100 percent marks, a total of 360 students emerged as top 10 rank holders after MPBSE declared Class 10 results. Hoshangabad’s Sonam Patel and Seoni’s Sandhya Thakur secured 399 out of 400 marks, holding the second rank.
22 students held the third rank, having scored 99.67 percent marks.
15 students share first rank with 100% marks
15 first rank holders emerged as the MPBSE declared Class 10 results. The students who topped the exam by scoring 100 percent marks are – Abhinav Sharma, Lakshdeep Dhakad, Priyanshu Raghuvanshi, Pawan Bhargav, Chatur Kumar Tripathi, Hariom Patidar, Rajnandini Saxena, Siddharth Singh Shekhawat, Harsh Pratap Singh, Kavita Lodhi, Muskan Malviya, Devanshi Raghuvanshi, Karnika Mishra, Prashant Vishwakarma and Vedika Vishwakarma.
Girls outshine boys with 65.87% pass percentage
In the MPBSE Class 10 exams, whose results were declared on mpbse.nic.in, 8,93,336 student had appeared, of which 4,68,288 were boys and 4,25,048 were girls.
Girls outperformed boys by securing a pass percentage of 65.87. 60.09 percent of the boys who appeared for the exam cleared it.
62.84% students clear MPBSE Class 10 exam
In an improvement of last year’s results, 62.84 percent of the students who appeared for the Class 10 exams in Madhya Pradesh cleared it. In 2019, a pass percentage of 61.32 percent was recorded.
Three toppers share first position with 100% marks
Abhinav Sharma from Bhind and Lakshdeep Dankar and Pawan Bhargav, both from Guna, have bagged the first position by scoring 100 percent marks, Hindustan Times reported.

The Madhya Pradesh board declared the Class 10 results on its official website – mpbse.nic.in.
Steps to check the MP board’s Class 10 Result 2020:
Step 1: Visit the official sites of MPBSE – mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link on the homepage which says ‘Class 10 Examination 2020.’
Step 3: Enter your roll number and other details on your admit card to log in.
Step 4: Your score will be displayed on the screen,
Step 5: Save it in a PDF file and print it out for further reference.
Toppers scored 99.8% marks in 2019
Gagan Dixit and Ayushman Tamarkar jointly held the first rank in the Class 10 exams last year. Both scored 99.8 percent marks.
MPBSE to use best of five policy
The result of Class 10 board examination will be declared on the basis of the best of five policy. Out of six subjects, the top five marks will be taken into consideration to calculate the aggregate marks scored by a student.
Pass percentage was 61.32% in 2019
Last year, students had registered a pass percentage of 61.32 percent in the Madhya Pradesh Board Class 10 examinations.
The Class 10 exams were to be held between 3 to 27 March, but some of them were cancelled to due to the lockdown imposed in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that all students will get the remark ‘pass’ against the subject for which the exam has not been conducted.
At least 33% marks required to clear Class 10 exam
To pass the MPBSE Class 10 exam, students have to score at least 33 percent marks.
To secure the first division, candidates need to secure 60 percent marks, while students who score 45 percent marks or above will stand in the second division.

Over 11 lakh students appeared for the MPBSE Class 10 exams, according to a report in the Indian Express. Thus after the results are declared, the official MPBSE sites may become unresponsive. Students can use alternative websites like indiaresults.com and examresults.net to check their results.

Step 2: Click on Madhya Pradesh in the list of the states or type the URL madhya-pradesh.indiaresults.com on your browser and press enter.
Step 3: Look for the link for the MPBSE Class 10 results.
Step 4: Click on the link. It will take you to a new page. Fill in all the details to get your results.
How to get MPBSE Class 10 result on mobile apps
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has an official app on play store, which students can easily download from the attached link.
You can also download the ‘MP Board Result 2020, MPBSE 10th & 12th’ app from play store. The app is not backed officially by the board, however, it uses the Android WebView feature to fetch results from official website.
How to check results via SMS
Apart from checking the official websites, students can also know their results through SMS. The results can be accessed by sending an SMS in the format — MP10roll number — to 56263 and 5676750

Some MP board exams were suspended due to pandemic
The MP Board Class 10 result will be declared without conducting the pending board exams. The remaining papers which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be conducted later by the board.
Class 10 results likely to be announced at 12 pm
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is likely to declare the result of Madhya Pradesh Class 10th examination today (Saturday, 4 July) at 12 pm, while the Class 12 results are expected next week, reports said.
Once announced, students can check the results on the websites – mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in.
