A Pune startup is helping prisoners seek a second chance at life

Inmate is an initiative by Divej Mehta. It's a small factory setup inside the Yerwada Central Prison, Pune, where almost 65 prisoners are manufacturing footwear everyday. Divej firmly believes that every person deserves a second chance, and that more than a brand, 'Inmate' is a medium through which prisoners can seek some societal acceptance.
