Haryana: According to the police, a 40-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death in Ainchwadi village, which is under the jurisdiction of Punhana police station. Tuesday’s incident led to the filing of a FIR at Punhana police station against 12 people, according to the police. Mubeen, a citizen of the village of Ainchwadi, was recognised as the deceased.
In a complaint submitted by the victim’s brother, it is claimed that on Tuesday, some individuals who were allegedly engaged in illegal mining were transporting mining stones in a tractor that was being driven quickly. They got into a fight when Mubeen told them to slow the tractor down.
“Soon after this, the group attacked Mubeen with stones, sticks and iron rods and thrashed him to death,” the complainant said. Following the complaint, an FIR has been registered against the accused under various provisions of the IPC including a murder at Punhana police station.
“We handed over the body to the kin after the postmortem and all the accused are absconding. We are conducting raids at suspected places and they will be arrested soon,” said inspector Sandeep Mor, SHO of Punhana police station.
