Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday thanked the people of Maharashtra, especially the youth and women of the state, for a historic win of the NDA in the Assembly election.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Development wins! Good governance wins! United we will soar even higher!”

“Heartfelt gratitude to my sisters and brothers of Maharashtra, especially the youth and women of the state, for a historic mandate to the NDA. This affection and warmth is unparalleled,” PM Modi further said.

The Prime Minister also assured the people that the Mahayuti alliance “will keep working for Maharashtra’s progress.”

The Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra comprises the BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde, and NCP (Ajit Pawar).

Mahayuti is set to make history by winning a landslide success in Maharashtra. Party workers and leaders across the state have already started celebrating the alliance’s big victory as Mahayuti won 235 seats. The BJP, which has the largest share of seats, has won 133 seats. The party’s tally alone is greater than that of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) which has managed to bag only 49 out of the 288 assembly seats.
