Mumbai: A fire broke out in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) building in suburban Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Friday morning. There was no immediate report of any causalty, fire brigade sources said. The blaze erupted on the fourth floor of the building at around 8 30 am. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, sources added. An RBI spokesperson said that there was an incident of fire at the central bank office. “The fire is under control and there has been no damage to life,” the spokesperson said. The incident was reported on the floor which houses the offices of the National Payments Corporation of India, she added.
