New Delhi: The Delhi government on Thursday issued an order withdrawing the Rs 500 fine for not wearing masks in public places in the national capital.
@Delhi_DDMA has decided that compulsory wearing of masks under the Epidemic Act not be extended beyond 30.9.22 & hence, a Fine of Rs. 500/-for not wearing of mask in public places stands withdrawn wef 30.09.2022.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had in a meeting last month decided to stop levying the penalty after 30 September amid a decline in COVID-19 cases in the national capital.
