Among the battles fans have been looking forward to the most is the face off between Indian batting star Virat Kohli and Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq.

The two, after all, had quite the on-field face off during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Naveen’s Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 1 May. LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir, who is widely known for not having the best of relations with Kohli, also got involved in the heated exchange.

The feud between the two would then spill beyond the field as well, with Naveen sharing a number of stories on Instagram appearing to take a jibe at Kohli, especially when RCB were eliminated from the race to playoffs with a defeat against Mumbai Indians.
