Virat Kohli hit his 25th Test century at Perth and Twitter was in awe of his masterful ton.
Master batsman Virat Kohli brought up his 25th century on Sunday, smashing a four off Mitchell Starc to reach triple figures on day three of the second Test in Perth.
Playing in his 75th Test, the Indian run-machine did it in style with classic straight drive to take his team to 214 for four in reply to Australia's 326.
He hit 11 fours in the battling 214-ball knock after coming to the crease with his team in trouble after losing two early wickets.
It was his sixth ton in Australia, putting him in the elite company of Sachin Tendulkar. As always, Twitter was abuzz and in awe of King Kohli.
He's made 25 and there have been some incredible knocks in there but Kohli will remember this with great fondness. It is a very special hundred.

Virat Kohli reaches his 25th test century, and then indicates that he has let his bat do the swearing.

He attacked Australia's fastest bowler more than any other. He scored all round the field. He played just 12% false shots, in a Test where the average was 19%. He punished full balls at 7.35rpo, fought off the good balls.

Has hit 25 so far in Tests and this has been one of the more special one from Virat Kohli. Not many adjectives can do justice to the skill, to the hunger and courage. #AusVInd — VVS Laxman (@VVSLaxman281) December 16, 2018
If anyone has seen a better player across all the different formats then I haven’t seen him .. @imVkohli is incredible ... Loved his ‘let the Bat do the talking ‘ celebration !! #AUSvIND #Perth — Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) December 16, 2018
Congrats to @imVkohli on another magnificent 100. A completely different class to any other batsman playing international cricket & on the planet. An absolute joy to watch - well played ! India now have their noses ahead, 2nd new ball again an issue for the Aussies !

I don't generally create Video mixes. But @imVkohli's stroke to 100 made me do that today. His straight drive today for his hundred brought back memories of @sachin_rt's On drive to 100 in Perth 1992. Quite similar!! #AUSvsIND @cricketcomau @BCCI @FoxCricket God & his Disciple!😎 pic.twitter.com/YAmfOWOk5i
