Sunrisers Hyderabad’s list of retained and released players: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have retained five players —Skipper Pat Cummins, Heinrich Klaasen, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction.

The retentions of these five players mean that SRH have kept faith in their core group. Both Head and Abhishek were fiery at the top of the SRH batting lineup, Klaasen provided good support in the middle, and Reddy also produced results with both the bat and ball. And not to forget, Cummins led by example, guiding the team to the IPL 2024 final, where they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The IPL 2025 mega auction will reportedly take place in Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November.
SRH’s list of retained players: Heinrich Klaasen (Rs 23 crore), Pat Cummins (Rs 18 crore), Abhishek Sharma (Rs 14 crore), Travis Head (Rs 14 crore), Nitish Kumar Reddy (Rs 6 crore).
SRH’s list of released players: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar, Aiden Markram, T Natarajan, Rahul Tripathi, Abdul Samad, Glenn Phillips, Mayank Agarwal, Marco Jansen, Sanvir Singh, Wanindu Hasaranga, Akash Singh, Shahbaz Ahmed, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Jaydev Unadkat, Umran Malik, Mayank Markande, Jhathavedh Subramanyan, Vijaykanth Viyaskanth.
