Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) got their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction underway with the purchase of pacer Mohammed Shami on Sunday. The IPL 2024 runners-up spent Rs 10 crore to buy Indian pacer Shami at the IPL 2025 mega auction which is taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

They also added Harshal Patel (Rs 8 crore), Ishan Kishan (Rs 11.25 crore), Rahul Chahar (Rs 3.2 crore), and Adam Zampa (Rs 2.4 crore).

SRH had already retained their core with players like Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
