Suryakumar Yadav brings Abhishek Sharma into the attack and he does well to give away just four runs from first four balls and then Daryl Mitchell showcases his prowess against spin. He drills two boundaries all along the ground straight past the umpire and New Zealand make it a 12-run over.

Glenn Phillips was dominating Kuldeep Yadav in this over but it is the wrist spinner who has the last laugh. Phillips hit him four a six and a couple of boundaries and was looking to add more runs but he has mistimed the ball straight into the hands of Hardik Pandya at backward point. Phillips is gone for only 19 tonight.

Varun Chakravarthy is back into the attack and he is welcomed with a bludgeoning six over deep mid-wicket by Rachin Ravindra. Very powerful shot on this slightly fullish shot.

And he does it again before Varun finishes his over. Last ball is again full but this time Varun has bowled it a little wide and yet Ravindra finds the timing on his slog sweep to fetch it over mid-wicket once again.

Rachin Ravindra is showing his class in the middle. Harshit Rana has not been able to follow up well on his wicket maiden and has conceded 19 runs in this over. New Zealand have finished the powerplay well with this beating by Ravindra to Rana.
