MI Team Players List IPL Auction 2025: Mumbai Indians full squad and complete players list

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians completed their first signing of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction in Jeddah on Sunday as they acquired New Zealand pacer Trent Boult for Rs 12.50 crore. MI also purchased Robin Minz and Karn Sharm, while also buying back Naman Dhir through RTM.

On Monday, MI added India pacer Deepak Chahar and Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar as well as England’s Reece Topley and New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner. Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun returns to the franchise after being acquired for his base price of Rs 30 lakh.

MI had opted to retain their core group of players on the Retention Deadline day , with pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah their top pick at Rs 18 crore.

The trio of captain Hardik Pandya, former skipper Rohit Sharma and India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav were retained at the Rs 16-crore range while young Tilak Varma, a star in the making, was retained at Rs 8 crore.

Rohit was widely believed to have made his final appearance for the franchise that he had represented since 2011 and captained for a decade after a turbulent 2024 season, in which MI made headlines for a reported divide between Pandya and Rohit as well as their below-par performances. The franchise, however, has decided to give him an extension for now and end his IPL journey wearing blue-and-gold.
