Rabada then slacks a four over mid on. They take 8 runs from the Avesh over. However, Harshal bowls another very good over, gets the wicket of Rabada and gives away just 5 runs.

But then Klaasen manufactures a brilliant shot off a very full ball to carve it over point for a FOUR. 9 runs off the over. Chahal then gets the BIG wicket of Klaasen in the next over to deliver a big blow to SA. He gives away just 7 off the over along with a wicket. 78 needed off 30.

Again, Axar gives the boundary ball in the over but is disciplined with the rest. Klaasen hammers a full delivery for a SIX straight down the ground. The rest five balls yield just one run. There was an LBW appeal turned down by the umpire, against Klaasen, Indian reviewed but replays showed the impact was umpire’s call and it was missing leg by long. 7 runs off the Axar over. Another over where Axar bowls that one bad ball. Drops one short and Klaasen pulls it over mid-wicket for a FOUR. He goes for just 6 runs overall in the over. Harshal then bowls a bad delivery, on the pads, and Klaasen clips it to fine leg for another FOUR. But the India seamer bounces back well to send back Miller with the slower one. 8 runs and a wicket off that over. 14 runs and a wicket off the last two.

After three more singles, Hendricks whips one for a SIX. Harshal though gets his man off the last ball as Hendricks mistimes one to mid off, off a slower one. 13 runs and a wicket off the over.Chahal then bowls another brilliant over, gets the wicket of Van der Dussen and gives away just two runs. He got some turn off the surface. 15 runs and a wicket off the last two overs.

A good couple of overs for India. The spinners have started off well. Axar gives away just six runs and gets the wicket of Bavuma. Chahal nearly has Hendricks, gets him to nick one but Pant drops it. He gives away just 2 runs. 8 runs and a wicket off the last two overs.

A couple of bad balls from Avesh in that over and they are punished. Avesh struggled a bit to get his lengths right. The two boundary balls were, 1) very full and 2) short and wide. Hendricks punished both. But the rest were dot balls. 8 runs off the over.

A brilliant start from Bhuvneshwar. He produced a lot of swing and movement off the pitch. He bowls an indipper and beats Hendricks’ defense, there is a huge appeal for an LBW but the umpire turns it down. India don’t take the review. Replays show it would have gone over the top. The next one does too much and beats the bat but India are not interested as there is just a stifled appeal. Bavuma then nearly drags one onto the stumps as it bounces over the stumps.

India post 179/5. A good last over for India. Pandya hit a couple of FOURS. But overall, it was good comeback from South Africa. India were cruising at one point at 97/0 from 10 overs but then the Proteas battled hard to pull things back.
