Delhi Capitals’ list of retained and released players: Delhi Capitals have retained Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Abhishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs ahead of the Indian Premier League (2025) mega auction. Captain Rishabh Pant was a surprise omission from DC’s list of player retentions. Pant will now head to the IPL auction pool after having spent eight seasons with DC. Pant had played 111 IPL matches so far, all for DC, and scored 3284 runs, hitting 18 fifties and a century.

Axar Patel has been retained as the top choice player by DC, earning Rs 16.5 crore and it is interesting to note that none of the players have been paid the highest retention rate of Rs 18 crore. Abhishek Porel the only uncapped player in the list has been retained for Rs 4 crore.
The IPL 2025 mega auction is reportedly scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia towards the end of November.
