Shreyas Iyer had his best IPL season with the bat and impressed everyone with his captaincy as his combination with head coach Ricky Ponting worked wonders for PBKS who are regarded among the weakest teams in the league. The Iyer-Ponting duo made a lot of uncapped players explore their full potential. The likes of Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Harpreet Brar and some others played key role in taking PBKS to the final.
With an aim to go one step better and win the trophy this season, PBKS have trusted most of their stars to repeat their last year’s magic.
