India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss against Oman in Abu Dhabi and chose to bat first in their final group-stage match of Asia Cup 2025 . Talking at the toss, he was asked about his team combination. Suryakumar Yadav said India have made two changes, with Harshit Rana coming in, but he could not recall the name of the other player.
SKY said, “We have not batted first in this competition and we want to know our depth. Having game time is important going into the Super 4s. We want to continue the good habits from the first two games. We have two changes – Harshit comes in, one more guy comes in, oh my god, I have become like Rohit.”
The Indian skipper forgot the name of Arshdeep Singh, who has been brought into the playing XI alongside Harshit. Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy have been rested for this dead rubber game. SKY took Rohit’s name because the former captain is known for forgetting things.
Oman captain Jatinder Singh said he would have liked to bat first. He also could not remember the name of one player, revealing that his team had made two changes for this game as well.

It is a great opportunity to share the field with India and get a look at their mindset. We have two changes,” Singh said.
