ICC reveals updated schedule for T20 World Cup after Bangladesh replaced by Scotland

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday took the big call of dropping out Bangladesh from the upcoming T20 World Cup and replaced them with Scotland. The decision has been taken after Bangladesh refused to travel to India citing security concerns.

ICC stated that its assessment found no security concerns for Bangladesh and refused to accommodate the country’s demands to schedule their matches to Sri Lanka. As Bangladesh continued with their stance, ICC was forced to drop them and include Scotland in the 20-team tournament.

The schedule for the World Cup also had to be changed after the inclusion of Scotland. The Scots have simply been inserted into the games which Bangladesh was supposed to play and the revised schedule for the tournament has been revealed.
