In an interaction with News 18 Hindi, the actors shared their experiences of being declared 'zero' in their career and overcoming these failures, which is what the Aanand L Rai directorial will also tell.
Khan said that when he was starting off as a new actor in Bollywood, there were many talents he did not possess including horse-riding skills or having a body builder's physique. Many filmmakers also suggested him to not venture into the acting sphere, yet he continued struggling and eventually proved them all wrong.
Kaif also opened up about working with choreographer Raju Sundaram, Prabhudeva's brother, who reprimanded her when she faltered during a dance routine. Even though Sundaram and Kaif are now on good terms, the incident left a deep impact on the actress' life.
Further, Khan also revealed that he was a bathroom singer and Kaif said that she is finally proficient in Hindi but still remains scared to speak it often.
Zero will release in cinemas on 21 December.
