Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya on Shah Rukh Khan: 'Some music directors had an agenda separating me and him'

Veteran singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who made his singing debut with Salman Khan’s Baaghi in 1991, is known to be the voice of Superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The two have worked together on films like Anjaam, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Yes Boss, Badshaah, Josh, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Asoka, Chalte Chalte, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om (their last collaboration). The two had their fair share of differences and in a Facebook live chat, the singer said there were some music directors with an agenda that wanted to create a rift between the two. The singer said, “That’s how live in the industry.” He further said he’s not SRK’s voice. He said, “I am not his voice. When I perform abroad, people think I sing like Shah Rukh Khan because they don’t know songs are sung by singers and not actors.” Shah Rukh Khan turns 58 It was that night of the year again! Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan rang in his 58th birthday on 2 November as he stepped out to the balcony of his residence Mannat at 12 am. As it has been the norm for all SRK fans, a sea of people, like each year, reached the Jawan actor’s home to get that ‘one glance’ of their favourite superstar. The scene outside  Mannat  was indeed a sight to behold. As expected, Shah Rukh Khan  greeted his fans in his signature style, leaving them all star-struck. No wonder the crowd screamed their hearts out and wished the Bollywood’s ‘Baadshah’ a very happy birthday! Shah Rukh, on his part, seems extremely overwhelmed and reciprocated with golden hands. Our very-own  King Khan  looked absolutely stunning as he came out of his residence. With a clean-shaven chick look and semi-long hairdo, the actor made his fans fall for him all over again. He donned a solid jet-black t-shirt and slipped in a pair of camouflage trousers to tune in his special day. A black cap, a pair of black sunglasses, some bracelets and a watch completed his birthday look.
