World Vegan Day 2023: From Alia Bhatt to Jacqueline Fernandez, celebrities that are vegan

As the world celebrates Vegan Day today on November 1, we look at some of the Bollywood celebrities that follow a vegan diet. They have shared posts on social media about veganism and how it can have a positive impact on your physical, mental, and spiritual health, and also endorsed veganism to their fans and followers. It’s all about going green. Here are their names: Alia Bhatt

Alia has been a vegan for a few years now. Speaking to DNA back in 2018, the actress said, “I always wanted to do something good, being in the position where I am today. I feel passionately about animals. Having said that, we also need to be protective of our country, world, and space. If we only take care of our own place and don’t worry about the world, then it’s a selfish way to lead our lives. My main aim is to create as much awareness as I can.” Richa Chadha

“We are human beings—we are not meant to consume milk from another mammal,” the actress told Vegan First. “We are not built to digest something that’s so heavy on the body.” Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza

This Bollywood couple also endorses veganism. Back in 2021, talking about the same, Riteish said, “As a former carnivore, I know that millions like me are looking for a solution to their meat cravings.” He added, “We spent years looking for the perfect fix until we decided to make it ourselves—and we’ve worked for over two years to make this a reality. With our wide range of craveable plant-based meats, we want to enable everybody to Imagine Meat.” Malaika Arora

So what’s the secret of her fab body? Well, for all of those who were unaware, she has appeared for a PETA campaign and was quoted saying, “Experimenting with vegan food has been a challenge but so worth it.”

Jacqueline Fernandez

Because of her support to going green and animals, the actress won PETA’s first Digital Activism Award, and in 2014, and she was named PETA India’s Woman of the Year. Sonakshi Sinha

When asked about being a vegan, Sonakshi said, “Cows and buffaloes are intelligent, emotional animals who mourn the loss of and separation from loved ones, so I choose vegan leather and other compassionate materials when I shop.” Read all the  Latest News Trending News Cricket News Bollywood News , India News  and  Entertainment News  here.
