Talking about his role in the film, Shroff said that he will be seen in a completely different light.

"It's like Superman has been stripped of his powers. I'm the underdog in the film and so surrendered myself in this world to Karan Johar (producer) and Punit Malhotra's (director) superior judgement, writes Mirror. He added that working in a glamorous high school drama had always been his dream.

The third instalment of the Baaghi franchise, helmed by choreographer-turned director Ahmed Khan was announced recently, which will see him reprise his role as Ronnie. Details pertaining to the film are not yet known, but Shroff said that the makers want to make the franchise bigger and better with every film.

While accepting a film's script, Shroff revealed that he keeps in mind that the story appeals to all types of audience. He said that after some research, his team found that his films were better received in  B and C centres (small town and interiors).

The actor's other projects include Siddharth Anand's yet untitled film, the first schedule of which he recently wrapped filming, according to Mirror. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor. He called the film a "beautiful story" with "challenging characters", and described working his first collaboration with Roshan as a "surreal experience".

According to reports, Shroff will be making his Hollywood debut, which will be produced by  Lawrence Kasanoff, who is associated with films such as Mortal Kombat, Blue Steel and Blood Diner. Shroff told Mirror that he was still in talks and had not signed a project yet.
