Tiger Shroff gets candid about his 'Ganapath' character: 'Never played so many shades before'

Bollywood heartthrob Tiger Shroff is known to play the role of an action hero. While fans await for the release of his next Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, Tiger Shroff has revealed that he had a whole new experience playing his character in this film. Giving details about his character, the actor told news agency IANS, “It is so different, I have never played so many shades before. I have always been very one track straight forward hero, this is more of an underdog becoming a hero and yes, there is a dark side of him too and there is a very child like side of him too as well.” Meanwhile, the trailer of Ganapath: A Hero Is Born , which released on 9 October, gave a glimpse of Tiger’s never-seen-before action avatar. Kriti Sanon has been paired opposite Tiger Shroff. The duo previous collaboration in the 2014 film, Heropanti. Earlier, Ganapath’s lead actress Kriti had opened up about her journey at a talk show in Indore. When asked about what keeps her grounded, the actress had said, “Family and having some real people, real set of friends - whose behaviour towards you doesn’t get affected by the ups and downs of your life. The ones who appreciated you selflessly. The one’s who are genuinely standing for you, to love and support you. That’s it - this is everything. Hence it is very important to have such people in your life. It also keeps me grounded.” Pooja Entertainment presents Ganapath: A Hero Is Born in collaboration with Good Co. The actioner also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is bankrolled by the director himself along with Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani. Ganapath: A Hero Is Born is slated to release worldwide on 20 October in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
