'Tiger 3' teaser: Will Salman Khan's film beat Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' at the box-office?

Salman Khan has finally unveiled the much anticipated and awaited trailer of Tiger 3, his third film in the Tiger franchise. Ek Tha Tiger (2012) was a love story between an Indian spy and an undercover Pakistani agent, played by Katrina Kaif. Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) was about the two neighbors joining hands to eliminate a dreaded terrorist holding a bunch of nurses hostage in a hospital. What about the plot of Tiger 3 ? The teaser shows Salman Khan recording a video message that soon goes viral that shows his plea to his nation. He wants them to send a message to his son that his father is not a traitor but a patriot. And then we move on to some high octane action scenes that are the heart of the spy universe. The film that’s directed by Maneesh Sharma, shows the events following the other movies of the same thread like War and _Pathaan_ . Following Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War, it was in _Pathaan_ that Aditya Chopra officially revealed that he was building the YRF Spy Universe and unveiled the franchise logo. The crossover of characters also started with Pathaan, which saw the union of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in a larger-than-life action sequence celebrating the aura of these two cinematic icons.

YRF intends to interconnect every spy film in the post-Pathaan world. Tiger 3 follows the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan, and will be carrying forward the promise of an edge-of-the-seat action spectacle that people have not seen before on the big screen. Tiger 3 stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist and Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo where he reprises his role from and as Pathaan.
