Ever since Sony unveiled the
first teaser-trailer of its forthcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home, Twitter has gone into a frenzy over the absence of Tony Stark in the clip. Taking place after Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the conspicuous absence of Robert Downey Jr, who plays the beloved Iron Man, perhaps hints at the fact that the Avenger was unable to survive Avengers: Endgame. [caption id=“attachment_5906751” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man in a still from Avenger: Endgame trailer[/caption] The
_Avengers: Endgame_ trailer had shown Tony Stark stranded in space, running out of oxygen and food, and recording a message for Pepper Potts. Avengers: Infinity War saw Thanos wipe out half of the world’s population with a snap of his finger, which included Spider-Man as well. Hence, the trailer indicates that the web-spinning superhero will be resurrected somehow. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been speculating about Tony Stark’s fate, expressing their concern on Twitter.
