Simmba: Rohit Shetty confirms Karan Johar, Golmaal cast's cameos in a special song of the cop comedy

In addition to this, Johar revealed that Simmba will have a sequel, writes Bollywood Life. The trailer, which released on Monday, shows Singh as a flamboyant cop, who is initially a local goon’s henchman. However, an unfortunate incident awakens his moral consciousness and he becomes a crusader for women’s safety and rights. The trailer also features Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham. Simmba is based on the Telugu film Temper, which starred Jr NTR. Also starring Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana, the film is set to release on 28 December. Sara Ali Khan will play the female lead after making her Bollywood debut in Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, that releases this Friday on 7 December.
