cruising past Rs 200 crore mark on Tuesday, has overtaken the lifetime business of Golmaal Again (Rs 205.69 crore) on the 13th day of its release. The cop drama collected another Rs 5.31 crore on Wednesday, bringing its total collection to Rs 208. 14 crore. Simmba has thus become the second highest grosser in Rohit Shetty’s filmography, after Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Chennai Express (Rs 227.13 crore). As per trade analysts, Simmba bears the potential to pack a total of Rs 212 crore by the end of second week. Incidentally, the film, which crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark on the fifth day of release , became the eighth consecutive film of Rohit Shetty to enter the Rs 100 crore club. With an entry in the Rs 200 crore club, Simmba also became the second second blockbuster for Ranveer Singh in 2018, after Padmaavat. The film has also become the third film in 2018 to reach the Rs 200 crore mark, after _Sanju_ and Padmaavat .
