Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s power-packed collaboration on their action entertainer _Simmba_ has been churning gold at the box office ever since the film hit the screens on 28 December. On the 12th day of its release, the film crossed the Rs 200 crore mark, earning Rs 6.03 crore on Tuesday. The total earnings of the film currently stand at Rs 202.83 crore. Simmba is also Singh’s second blockbuster of 2018, after Padmaavat.

The film, which crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark on the fifth day of release , became the eighth consecutive film of Rohit Shetty to enter the 100 crore club.

The Sara Ali Khan-Ranveer Singh-starrer minted Rs 20.72 crore on the opening day, which is the biggest opening film of Ranveer’s career. The film has also become the third film in 2018 to reach the Rs 200 crore mark, after _Sanju_ and Padmaavat . It is also expected to surpass the lifetime collection of Shetty’s highest grossing films Chennai Express and Golmaal Again.
