Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is gearing up for his directorial debut with a web show for a digital platform featuring Lakshya Lalwani and Mona Singh in prominent roles along with cameos of his father, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, and Badshah, among others.
However, as per the latest reports, SRK is getting many offers from filmmakers to launch his son Aryan Khan as an actor on the big screen.
“Everyone who has met Aryan feel that he has the personality and aura to be the star that the industry is waiting for. Over the last year, Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan have been offered a film by Karan Johar, an epic by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, as also potential offers for his launch from his director and filmmaker friends like Aditya Chopra, Farah Khan among others,” said a source to PinkVilla.
“However, Aryan is presently focusing on finishing his directorial debut, Stardom, for a leading digital player. Once the work on Stardom is wrapped up, will he sit down with father, Shah Rukh Khan, and take-a-decision if acting is his calling. Right now, he is content being on the creative side and wants to focus on direction in the long run too, but everyone in the industry is hopeful for him to switch gears and take on to acting,” added the source.
Aryan Khan and his father and superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently collaborated for Aryan’s clothing brand D’yavol X. And while speaking to GQ, Aryan opened up about this collaboration and working with his father.
He said, “It’s always a pleasure and a learning experience. People talk about his work ethic, but experiencing it first-hand was really exciting. He has a wealth of knowledge, which makes my job easier.”
