Last year, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan set the box office on fire when they appeared together in Pathaan and Tiger 3.
And now, it seems the duo is set to reunite for Aryan Khan’s directorial debut Stardom. The web show, which is set to have a fictionalised take on Bollywood, will feature Kill star Lakshya along with cameos of biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, and Badshah, among others.
The latest one to join the bandwagon of cameos is megastar Salman Khan. “Aryan has roped in Salman Khan to grace one of the episodes of his series. The actor has already wrapped up filming his part. While both the superstars will most probably not be sharing screen space in the show, it will definitely be exciting for both of their fans to see their favourite stars collaborate on the former’s son’s debut project,” said a source to News18.
“It was a no-brainer for Salman when he was offered a cameo in Stardom. Salman shares a great bond with Shah Rukh and his family. And so, it took him no time to say a yes to Aryan,” added the source.
Aryan Khan and his father and superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently collaborated for Aryan ’s clothing brand D’yavol X. And while speaking to GQ, Aryan opened up about this collaboration and working with his father.
He said, “It’s always a pleasure and a learning experience. People talk about his work ethic, but experiencing it first-hand was really exciting. He has a wealth of knowledge, which makes my job easier.”
The starkid added, “Some things that would take me some time to wrap my head around were seamless for him. Our brand is edgy, so he’s around to keep some semblance of sanity and respectability, otherwise, there could be too much madness. Because we are an age-agnostic brand, I think we have an interesting balance: I have a more contemporary way of thinking; my father brings a dose of maturity into it.”
