Chennai Express: Released in 2013, the Rohit Shetty directorial Chennai Express is also counted among one of the biggest hits of the actor’s career. Starring alongside Deepika Padukone, the actor managed to spread his magic with a perfect blend of romance, action, and humour. The film collected around Rs 423 crore globally while it collected over Rs 200 crore in India. Happy New Year: After Chennai Express, the 2014 film Happy New Year can also be considered a big hit in the actor’s career. As the film collected around Rs 199 crore in India, it also collected Rs 397 crore globally. Featuring a multi-star cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Sonu Sood among many others, the film impressed with its right mix of humour and drama. Om Shanti Om: One cannot forget to mention the blockbuster 2007 film Om Shanti Om that turned out to become a big hit for both Shah Rukh Khan and debutant actor Deepika Padukone. Sporting six-pack abs for the film, the actor played a double role while exploring the theme of reincarnation. The flick also won a Filmfare Award that year. **My Name Is Khan** : Playing the role of an autistic person, Shah Rukh Khan clearly proved his mettle as an actor in Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan. The film received high appreciation, thanks to his performance and excellent acting skills. The movie also went on to bag some major awards including a Filmfare under the categories of Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Actor. **Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge** : When talking about Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest hits, one cannot forget Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It is believed to be one of the biggest romantic films that Bollywood ever produced. DDLJ clearly gained a cult status and is still known for running tax-free for the past few decades in Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir. The film is so iconic that it remains a fan favourite to date.
