Sara Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor come from two major film dynasties of India. 2018 saw major debuts in Bollywood from the star kids. While Jahnvi starred in Dhadak, a remake of hit Mrathi film Sairat, Sara was already two movies old by the end of the year. She made a confident debut with film Kedarnath. Her role as feisty Mukku earned praises from all corners. And then she  ended the year with Rohit Shetty's  blockbuster Simmba.

While comparisons between the two have been doing rounds, rumours are rife that both actors are jealous of each other. With constant media attention and social media pressure, Sara and Jahnvi are often pitted against each other.

In her recent interview with Filmfare, Sara came forward to clear these misconceptions. When asked about 'rivalry' with Jahnvi she said, "She's stunning. This whole thing (rivalry) about Janhvi and me is so funny. We're both extremely comfortable and confident in our skin." Sara mentioned how the first five times people made collages of them on Instagram, asking ‘who’s better?’, they sent it to each other and laughed about it. Now, they are comfortable wit these polls and are do not let them get in the way of their camaraderie. Sara also mentioned that the industry is huge and there is place for everyone.

When asked if she thinks Taimur is the biggest star in the family, she laughed and said, "Yes, hands down. He walks out of the house and it makes news. While we have to work hard for it."

On work front, Janhvi will next be seen in 2020 as part of Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht. Sara Ali Khan may reportedly share screen with Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal sequel. However, there is no confirmation yet.
