Sara Ali Khan made headlines when she expressed her desire to date fellow actor Kartik Aaryan on Koffee with Karan season 6

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan could share screen space in the sequel to Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, a Filmfare report stated. The report says that the duo have already come on board and the film is all set to go on floors soon.
However, a source close to the director informed Deccan Chronicle that the 2009 romantic-drama starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan does not have the potential for a sequel; adding that Imtiaz's plans for his future project feature neither Sara Ali Khan nor Kartik Aaryan.
Sara Ali Khan made headlines when she said she would like to date Kartik Aaryan on an episode of Koffee With Karan season 6. Soon after, Ranveer Singh introduced the two at Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2018, the video of which went viral. Not only did Singh tease the two, he even expressed his happiness at introducing them.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan has been promoting her upcoming cop action entertainer Simmba, alongside Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen opposite Kriti Sanon in Dinesh Vijan's Luka Chuppi.
