Saba Azad hospitalized for 'Cyclospora cayetanensis', calls it the 'Worst 14 days of my life': 'Have lost 4 kgs and...'

Actress Saba Azad has shared on her Instagram account that she has witnessed the worst 14 days of her life as she has been hospitalized. Konkona Sensharma and Preity Zinta have already sent her their wishes for speedy recovery. But what has happened to the actress?

Azad wrote- “Worst 14 days of my life. Cyclospora cayetanensis 🪱 🦠 you nasty piece of work!! For somone who only ever eats home food, carries her water bottle everywhere, this stomach bug came outa nowhere, that too at the busiest time of the year for me. Iv lost 4 kgs that I didn’t have spare in two weeks and I can barely walk.”

She added, “One day im training twice a day, doing pull-ups, lifting heavy and the next im half my size, without strength to lift a goddamn toothpick leave alone weights. So pls for the love of your gut wash your salad leaves and veg like your life depends on it - cause sometimes it really does!!”

The actress credited Hrithik Roshan for the picture we see and wrote- “by @hrithikroshan who’s kept my very grumpy sprits up and always manages to find humour in the darnest situations ♥️
PS - I haven’t shrunk quite as much as it may seem here, the bed is supersized and the angle is wide.”

What is this infection?

Cyclospora cayetanensis is a parasite that is so small it can only be seen under a microscope. When people eat food or drink water that’s contaminated with Cyclospora, they can get an intestinal illness called cyclosporiasis.

The recommended treatment involves a combination antibiotic called trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, also known as Bactrim, Septra, or Cotrim. People with diarrhea (loose stool/poop) should also rest and drink plenty of fluids.

Azad recently schooled a troll, who commented on her post about being Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend. Taking to her Instagram stories, Saba shared how the person said that she doesn’t need to work as she is ‘Greek God’s girlfriend’.

When Saba shared the teaser of her show Who’s Your Gynac season 2 on Instagram, a troll commented, “I thought season 2 would never come, after all @sabazad Madam Ji is the official girlfriend of the Greek God. But now I am very excited for the next season.”

This comment grabbed Saba’s attention as she shared it on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Ok sumit ji uncle ji!! Maybe in your world when people fall in love they become incapacitated landlords stop asking for rent and the need to put food on one’s own table magically evaporates!! Wah!!”
