Saaho: Prabhas to be seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor and not Anushka Shetty in the film?

Baahubali star Prabhas has become one of the most sought after actors in the country post the mammoth success of SS Rajamouli’s film. No wonder, every move of the actor is being highlighted like never before. Prabhas’ next release, Saaho, has therefore been a buzzing topic ever since it was declared. Initially it was being speculated that Katrina Kaif will be seen opposite Prabhas, then it was revealed that his Baahubali co-star ‘Devasena’ Anushka Shetty has been roped in for the role, as their chemistry worked marvels for the multi-million franchise. It was also said that many Bollywood actresses were being considered for the role starting from Priyanka Chopra to Deepika Padukone to Sonam Kapoor to Shraddha Kapoor to Disha Patani. But the Shetty angle remained concrete until the makers revealed that they were still considering options. Adding to all these speculations, it is now being reported that Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite the superstar in the film. According to a report by International Business Times , Shetty was supposed to lose weight for the film which she apparently could not do. Hence, the makers of the film had to look for a replacement. While Kapoor was asked initially but she had quoted a huge price which didn’t go too well with the makers. Now it seems they are back to square one with Kapoor on board, if the IBT report is to be believed. Saaho will be made in three languages — Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and will be helmed by Sujeeth. An earlier Firstpost  report  suggests that the film’s plot unfolds in Mumbai. Sujeeth also expressed his desire to shoot some action scenes on Mumbai roads during the monsoons. International stuntman Kenny Bates, popular for his work on films such as Die Hard and Transformers, has been brought on board. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been finalised as the antagonist of the film and would be seen doing a lot of hand-to-hand combats with Prabhas. The movie has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while Sabu Cyril will take care of production design and Madhie will crank the camera. The date of release of the film is still undecided.
