The event was attended by several big names from the Tollywood film industry, such as Premam director Chandoo Mondeti, editor Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and Veera Shankar.

She stars in the film opposite Dileep Prakash. Directed by Arjun Sai and produced by Naveen Reddy, this film is a romantic comedy. The film also features Prakash Raj in an important role.

The actress told Deccan Chronicle, "I am playing the role of an HR, who tries to save traditional art forms. I like the way the director has designed my character, which is different from my earlier films. Amani is playing my mother."

Previously, Arjun Sai has scripted films like Srimannarayana, Damarukam and Nakshatram. Regina Cassandra was also in Nakshatram. This film marks his debut as a director.

Next month, the shooting of the film will start in locations at Kullu-Manali.

Regina Cassandra has also bagged roles in Nenjam Marappathillai, Silukkuvarupatti Singam, Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum and Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen.

She was last seen in Maanagaram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actress took a brief sabbatical from Tollywood in the months before she signed this film.
