Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan and ex-wife Kiran Rao arrived together at Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) to pay their last respects to Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 86.

In the video shared by a paparazzo on social media, the duo was seen offering their condolences with folded hands.

While exiting from the venue, the actor called Tata’s contribution priceless and said, “Today is a sad day for all of us, and the whole country. What he has done for the nation through his company under his leadership is priceless. He was a rare person. We all will miss him a lot”.

Kiran also shared words for Ratan Tata calling him ‘a good soul’ and said, “We were lucky to spend some time with him. He was a good soul, and he is no longer with us. He has done a lot for us”.

Since the news of Ratan Tata’s demise broke, several celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan and others their condolences on social media.

“I will never forget our meeting in London few years back. When you very kindly said to me,” Mr. Kher! I like your comedy! You make me laugh!” Thank you for every lesson Mr. Tata! You taught me how to live with values and principles of life! You will always remain my most favourite G.O.A.T. Jai Ho!” Anupam Kher wrote on X.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan penned, “An era has just passed away…  his humility, his great resolve, his vision, and his determination to accomplish the very best for the nation, ever a pride…  It was my greatest honour to have had an opportunity and privilege to work together towards common humanitarian causes…  A very sad day… my prayers.”
