But what if I told you an A-lister of Bollywood has been featured on the front page of the famous comic magazine Tinkle? Surprised, right? Well, Ranveer Singh, known for his quirky nature, graced the cover of the Indian magazine. It is their our second January issue based on a character from his film Simmba . A report by Republic TV says that the comic issue also has an exclusive interview of the actor and his wife Deepika Padukone, who made the headlines recently with their fairytale wedding. Elated at the feature, Singh shared the cover on his Instagram account and wrote that reading Tinkle comics is one his fondest childhood memory. In the cover he can be seen portrayed as a comic character posing with the other famous cartoons of the magazines for a selfie.
Ranveer ended the year on a high note with his film Simmba creating waves at the box office. The actor also has a number of films in the pipeline, including Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Gully Boy which is slated to release on 14 February. The film is based on famous rapper Divine and has Alia Bhatt in the lead. The actor is also prepping for sports drama 83 , where he is portraying cricket legend Kapil Dev. The film is based on India’s historical 1983 Cricket World Cup win against England.
